Kwak’wala : Respect

Pewi Alfred from Alert Bay shares the Kwak’wala word for “Respect”. Kwak’wala is the indigenous language spoken by the Kwakwaka’wakw. It belongs to the Wakashan language family and is listed as critically endangered by UNESCO. You can learn more about Kwak’wala on the First Voices website.
