Grizzly Bear Watching

On this tour we visit the Orford River Valley located in picturesque Bute Inlet on the mainland of British Columbia. This pristine river valley is home to 40 resident grizzly bears and is also the historic home of the Homalco First Nation, one of the Coast Salish tribes. Upon arrival we are greeted by Homalco Aboriginal guides. We then travel along the Orford River Valley by minibus to specially designed platforms situated along the river in strategic locations ideal for viewing the mighty grizzlies. Here you’ll have the opportunity to witness firsthand the autumn ritual of these bears feasting on spawning salmon in Canada’s true wilderness. Observation platforms offer complete security so that you’ll more fully appreciate your glimpse into the lives of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Whale Watching

During this tour we depart from Campbell River on Vancouver Island to explore the Discovery Islands and Johnstone Strait areas in search of the Magnificent Orcas, sometimes referred to as Killer Whales. During this tour you may also have the opportunity to see; Bald Eagles, Humpback Whales, Black Bears, Seals, Porpoises and Pacific White Sided Dolphins. Marine Wildlife Viewing

On this tour we depart from Campbell River on Vancouver Island throughout the swirling waters of Discovery Passage and Johnstone Straits. We Search for Orcas (killer whales) and other marine wildlife such as dolphins, porpoises, eagles, seals and sea lions. Quite often in the spring we also see grizzly bears and black bears. Lunch is provided on this tour.

Boating

Enjoy a comfortable journey aboard our 27-foot covered high-speed tour boat with an open viewing deck and an onboard washroom.The vessel has twin engines and carries 12 passengers and is fully equipped with all the proper navigation and safety equipment. Even on a rainy day, you'll be warm and dry inside.
