The carving Shelter in front of the Gallery will catch your attention next to the sign, where large wood projects are carved, such as canoes and totem poles. Gordon Dick and other artists will often be carving in or outside the Gallery. As you enter the Gallery you will be greeted by open custom steel doors of a whale and wolf. Also Eagle and wolf beams and a Kingfisher A-panel design. You will see and smell fresh cedar wood chips.

Art Gallery & Gift Shop

Many affordable west coast art hangs on the wall from the local Vancouver Island nations: Nuu-chah-nulth, Coast Salish and Kwakwaka'wakw. Various other First Nations artists are also represented. There are original paintings, wood carvings, bentwood boxes, paddles, masks and panels for sale. As well as west coast basketry made from cedar, bark and grass. Carved silver jewellery and semi-precious jewellery make a great memento or gift. Custom orders are welcome.
