Cariboo Chilcotin Jetboat Adventures offer scenic river tours on the Fraser River by jetboat. Our trips feature pristine BC wilderness with smooth calm waters as well as Class II to III rapids. These waters are suitable for ages 6 and older. Wildlife viewing as well as Aboriginal and gold rush history are part of all of our tours. We supply all of the necessary safety equipment, licensed guides and top quality boats. We also offer backcountry van tours. Just bring your curiosity and sense of adventure!
Big Horn Sheep Viewing
The day starts with a pick up at the Coast Hotel in Williams Lake, a scenic drive into the west and then we get out for a refreshing hike to the sand dunes. Your guide will tell you all about the flora and fauna of the area. Once we make it over to the sand dunes we can relax have a snack and enjoy the view. Bighorn sheep may be spotted amongst the spectacular scenery.
Boating
Offerings include beautiful scenery, wildlife, Aboriginal early explorer and gold rush history with an educational interpretation by our knowledgeable guides. Highlights are traditional dip netting for wild salmon, salmon BBQ, viewing ancient petroglyphs and ancient village sites, identifying food and medicinal plants and of course, running the rapids through towering rock-wall canyons.
Fishing
Head down to one of the fishing spots along the Chilcotin River and try your hand at dip netting for salmon. When everyone has given it a try (optional) we will BBQ one up along with some additional fresh foods.
Van Tours
A fully guided tour that takes guests to Farwell Canyon, one of the Chilcotin’s most beautiful destinations.
