Whale Watching

Haida Gwaii Whale Watching Tours put you face to face with Grey Whales (April-June), Orcas, Humpback and Porpoises. Custom tours are available!

Marine Wildlife Viewing

Wildlife encounters may include whales, bald eagles, colourful intertidal life, or some of the 1 million seabirds nesting along the shores. Also black bears, river otters and sea lions. Some of the vegetation and wildlife are unique to these islands.

Boating

We have a 23.5 foot Trophy Pro (covered with bathroom) and 26 foot Osprey (covered with bathroom).

Fishing

At Haida Expeditions we provide knowledgeable Haida guides with reliable, seaworthy boats for the salmon fishing adventure of a lifetime! We fish on the West Coast, and our salt water salmon fishing trips are approximately 8 to 10 hours in duration depending on the tides. Our fishing charters do not include guide gratuity, fishing license or lunches.

Hiking and Walks

Haida Gwaii is rich in Haida cultural tradition. For those who prefer land based activities, Haida Expeditions offers guided walking, hiking and mini-bus tours of some of the islands’ cultural and natural treasures. The tours take approximately 8 hours each. All land tours depart from the Queen Charlotte City Visitor Information Centre. Price of the tours do not include guide gratuity, admission fees or lunches.
