The Quaaout Lodge, overlooking over 1800 feet of beachfront in Shuswap Region of BC, was renovated in 2010 and features 70 beautifully decorated guestrooms, a Conference Centre, Spa & 18-hole Golf Course.
The Quaaout Lodge & Talking Rock Golf Course, the pride of the Little Shuswap Indian Band, is situated on the north shore of Little Shuswap Lake, midway between Vancouver & Calgary just minutes off the Trans Canada Highway, a 45 minute drive east from Kamloops, or a scenic 2 hour drive north from Kelowna International Airport.
The Lodge re-opened in the spring of 2010 after a 4 month renovation, which included re-designing all hotel guest rooms, our restaurant, Jack Sam’s and hotel exterior. Balconies were added to all rooms and suites for our guests to enjoy the view of the lake and surrounding woods. Also, for our customer’s well-being, a brand new spa was implemented. The Le7ke spa professionals know how to relax our clients’ senses and activate your well-being.
The Lodge is is the pride of the Little Shuswap Lake Indian Band and is open for reservations daily, taking bookings for individual travelers, banquets, groups, meetings, golf and spa stays.
Accommodations
The Quaaout Lodge features 70 newly renovated guest rooms which will immerse you into comfort and relaxation that quiets the senses with easy and calming effects. Each room has its own balcony or patio with lake views to watch the setting sun over the mountains reflected on the lake. Rest your head with sounds of nature while you slumber in your choice of Standard rooms with two queen beds or one King bed, Deluxe room with King bed, lake front Jacuzzi Rooms with fireplaces, or Suites with separate sitting areas such as our Presidential Suite or our Honeymoon Suite, also with fireplaces.
Golf Course
Talking Rock Golf Course, the pride of the Little Shuswap Nation, opened in August 2007 and is becoming a mature and a world renowned course that has a calibre leaving you wanting to take the challenge over and over again.
Whether you are advanced in your game or in the learning stages, our course offers a challenge for everyone. The first hole begins just across the lane from the front entrance of the Lodge and completes with the last hole played along the shores of Little Shuswap Lake.
Restaurant
Jack Sam’s Restaurant is located just off the lobby with a beautiful view of Little Shuswap Lake and Talking Rock Golf Course. Our Executive Chef has designed menu selections to delight all and provides the fare expected at a world class hotel.
Guests will find delicacies on the dinner and catering menus which honour the First Nations traditions of the region such as Venison, Cedar Board Salmon Steak, Buffalo Ragout and our traditional “Chicken or Salmon” in Clay (48hrs notice required) to name just a few. By partnering with local producers, we are happy to offer our efforts towards a 100 Mile Menu.
