T’ashii Paddle School trips are an intimate way to experience the richness of Nuu-chah-nulth culture and explore the pristine environment of Clayoquot Sound. Experience an ancient form of human transport by taking a canoe tour in Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Or perhaps try a new form of transport with Tofino SUP on a Stand Up Paddle Board in one of the most stunning areas on the west coast.

Tla-o-qui-aht territory has a history of paddling that dates back over 5000 years, an ocean environment surrounded by old growth rainforest, snow capped mountains and surf beaches; all of which make the potential for paddling in the Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal park area extensive.

Paddle in a group of 4 to 10 in an authentic hand crafted, 35 foot, Joe Martin made, dugout cedar canoe. This is the ability to explore Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Park through an intimate connection to the ocean environment – Paddling!

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Hop on a touring board and head out for a cruise in an amazing location that includes the unique ecology of the mudflats and inlets around Grice Bay. Whether your stepping on a Stand Up Paddle Board for the first time or looking to apply your skills to new challenges of the coastal environment, Tofino SUP has the ability to make sure you get the most from your coastal paddling experience by offering daily paddleboard tours and lessons.
