Vancouver to Lillooet

Take in the incredible Coast Mountains on a road trip to Lillooet

The town of Lillooet, home to the St’át’imc First Nations, is set against the stunning backdrop of the coast mountains, with terrain that is great for a variety of activities including hiking, fishing, mountain biking and canoeing.

If leaving from Vancouver, rent a car or RV and travel north along Highway 99. On the way to Whistler, stop at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre which features guided tours, singing and drumming performances, multimedia presentations, craft workshops and indigenous cuisine.

Continue north to Whistler, famous for its world class skiing and snowboarding. Whistler Village, found at the base of Whistler’s two mountains, has many unique shops and restaurants. Continue north along Highway 99 to Lillooet, a town nestled inside the Coast Mountains that overlooks the Fraser River.
